On 17 November, LDFS hosted another fantastic event at London's up-and-coming cross-arts centre RICH MIX, located in the vibrant area of Shoreditch/East London. Baroness Lola Young came and gave a presentation on African Fashion. The evening showcased some of the finest emerging designers from various ethnicities who have focused on quality and sustainability. Designers that participated were Heidi Walker (from Finland), Kirette Couture (from Cameroon), Zaynah Courture (from Pakistan), Malgorzatadudek (from Poland), Elena Garcia (from Spain) and Stamo (from Greece).

Hannah Jean, a fashion consultant also showcased her stylist collection of vintage clothing.
 
The next monthly show will take place on Tuesday 8 December 2009 from 6:30pm – 9pm at Rich Mix. There will be another outstanding Catwalk Show Special, Pop up Boutique, and Presentations. Guests will be able to purchase discounted items directly from the designers.

One of the main aims of these monthly shows is to promote the collection of emerging designers to the press and PR agencies. There are invited buyers from some of the top retail stores, and opportunities to sell directly to the guests, not to mention photo shoots with invited celebrities.

These programs are supported by: Rich Mix, Ethical Fashion Forum, Fashion TV, Hanna J, Pukka PR and NK Management (LONDON) Ltd.

On 12th-13th March 2010 LDFS will be presenting their first main consumer event - FASHION FUSION EXPO at the Royal Horticultural Halls.

London Designers Fashion Show is a visionary new brand that aims to assist, celebrate and enhance the careers of the next generation of up-and-coming fashion designers.  L.D.F.S. has confirmed their upcoming consumer show next year 12th -13th March 2010 in Royal Horticultural Hall, Lindley Hall which is expected to attract an audience of over 3,000+ visitors per day from across London and beyond.

This event aims to support UK emerging designers and designers of diverse origins, helping them make a difference to the people behind fashion and also to the environment. The event is supported by Fashion TV and Ethical Fashion Forum. The Ethical Fashion Forum will be working with L.D.F.S. to provide resources, promote and support sustainable fashion practices through these event series.
