K by Beverley Knight

Singer/songwriter Beverley Knight MBE, has achieved a lot in a career that spans over a decade. She has won three Mobo’s and has received nominations for Mercury Music and Brit awards. Now she is set to conquer the beauty industry as she launches her own beauty range ‘K by Beverley Knight’.

Being a lady of colour she found it increasingly frustrating not being able to find suitable eye shadows or foundations, to match her complexion. Beverley always felt there was a gap in the market, so she decided to fill it with her own make - up range.

“Time and time again I would find myself looking for make-up that would work for my skin – everything from bases to eye shadows and lipsticks. The choice was very limited and like the vast majority of black and dark-skinned women, I found there wasn’t anything that provided the full spectrum of colours I needed. I was so excited to be offered the chance to work on my own range of products, introducing a home-grown brand which caters to all tones of black and Asian skin.”

Popular high street make up brands can be very limited when it comes to offering products in different skin shades, which is no help if you have darker skin. K by Beverley Knight aims to cover all areas of make-up and includes 78 shades ranging from oil-free foundations to eyeliners and highlighters.
